This is a continuation of day 1 of our 6D5N cruise on board Genting Dream Cruise (29092019 - 04092019).
Our cruise starts sailing at around 1700. There is an ongoing life jacket demonstration by the crew at all assembly station but is not mandatory to attend. As mentioned in my previous post, I was about to attempt the rope course at this time (can only starts climbing once the life jacket demonstration ends).
After the unsuccessful rope course attempt, we head over to the Lido outdoor snack corner for some coffee break. This is a 24 hour inclusive eating place so yup you will find my family here most of the time lol.
When the cruise starts sailing, there is a welcome aboard party by the main pool deck. Move your body and wave your hands in the air as the crew led away with some simple dance moves while the DJ play some upbeat music.
You might have guess it right, I did not dance. Instead I was drinking my coffee while watching the other dance. (✿◠‿◠)
After getting my coffee boost, we moved indoor to watch the special chinese acrobatic performance happening at Bar 360 at 1800.
What time is it... its eating time. Yes it is time to eat again. Earlier while watching the welcome party by the pool, I notice the crew setting up some bbq pit. There were no official indication of a bbq party tonight but I decided to head over to take a look first. It turns up there was a bbq party in conjunction with the welcome party. Those dancing earlier were already in the queue.
After dinner, we head back to Bar 360 to watch a world class ballroom showcase featuring international ballroom dancers.
After which we continue to explore the ship and end off the day listening to some live music at the main pool stage.
