This is the part 2 on my maiden voyage on Royal Caribbean's Mariner of the Seas in 2016. Follow me in part 1 of my maiden voyage on Royal Caribbean's Mariner of the Seas in 2016 where i shared on my experience in the check in process, stateroom condition and food available. GymThis is one of my favorite spot. I would head down to the gym every morning to burn the extra calories incurred during this trip. Do note you need to be in proper sports attire and shoes to use the gym. The gym is well equipped and relatively empty every time i was here. After burning some calories, I will spend some relaxation time in the Jacuzzi inside the gym or use the sauna room inside the toilet of the gym. There is a steam room but was no in use during my trip. You can get the keys for the locker inside the toilet from the spa counter one level down. Sports ActivitiesThere are many sports activities that you can engage in at Deck 13. This includes basketball, ping pong, mini golf. But the one with the queues would be inline skating and wall/rock climbing. 1 trick is to go during meal times for a shorter queues. Pool DeckThe swimming pool is the main attraction on the open deck. There are games, dance party, parades, BBQ and various activities happening at the pool at various time of the cruise. On normal days, you can just plunge into the pool for a swim or relax in the Jacuzzi. However here's the thing, it is always pack with people. But a good time to go to the pool is actually after dinner where they will be playing movie on the big screen. Move It Move It ParadeOne thing good of Royal Caribbean Cruise is that there is a festival vibe almost everyday. There is the welcome parade at the promenade, Move it Parade by the pool, 70's Disco Fever at promenade, Disco in the ice rink etc Expect lots of music, dance, laughter and fun with some of the iconic Dream Works characters. I will continue in part 3 of my maiden voyage on Royal Caribbean's Mariner of the Seas in 2016 talking about the various shows and performances i watched.
