Having a hard time finding a place to satisfy your kids thirst for fun without breaking the bank during the school holiday? Well i have just the place for you: Admiralty Park. If you are thinking why should you travel all the way north to visit a park when there are literally parks anywhere in Singapore, I hope you will have a change of heart after reading this article.
1. It is a very big park
Covering 27 Hectares of land, Admiralty Park is the largest park in the North region of Singapore. It is situated on hilly terrain with Sungei Cina river running through it, and houses the largest nature area within an urban park thus providing you and your kids plenty of space to run around and have fun.
2. It encompasses a rich mix of natural habitat
It is like a natural classroom with multiple walking trail where you can explore and discover more than 100 species of flora and fauna living together in a mix of forest, river, mangrove and grassland habitat.
3. It has 26 slides
Yes you did not misread; There are 26 slides within Admiralty Park making it the park with most number of slides in Singapore. Making full use of the various slopes in the area, you can find various slides and playground facilities catering to children of all ages including those young at heart (like me)
4. The Longest Slides
If having 26 slides is still not enough to satisfy you, Admiralty Park also features 2 set of roller slides with one measuring 34 meters long which is the longest outdoor slides in Singapore's Park.
5. The Tallest Slide
If the longest slide still cannot satisfy you, how about the tallest slide? Measuring 23m long and standing at 9m tall, the double barrel slide in Admiralty Park is the longest and tallest tube slide in a public park in Singapore.
6. It is F.R.E.E!!!
Yes you can enjoy all the above mentioned without paying a single cent. Woohoo!!!
Hopefully by now you have been tempted by me to visit Admiralty Park.
