Earlier today, StarHub released a press release to introduce their latest lineup of mobile postpaid plans. Out of which, the contract details that catches everyone's attention (Definitely gotten mine) is the free unlimited data access over the weekends. Ya you read that right: FREE UNLIMITED !!!! ヽ(^o^)丿ヽ(^o^)丿ヽ(^o^)丿 How this works is from 12am on Saturdays to 11.59pm on Sundays, StarHub customers can surf like there is no tomorrow without having to worry about incurring excess data charges. Time for drama marathon over the weekend. Outside of the weekends, customers will have between 3GB and 15GB of bundled data, which can be upsized and shared with loved ones using the popular DataJump and DataShare options, said StarHub. Prices for five new postpaid plans range from between $48 for 3GB and 200 minutes of talk time, to $238 for 15GB and unlimited talk time. However do note that SMSes are not included in the data plan, and they will be charged at 5.35 cents per message. Starting Thursday (31 August), customers will be able to sign up for the plans online as well as at StarHub Shops, authorised dealers and COMEX 2017. Soon after, M1 step up to the challenge by launching their latest unlimited 4G mobile plan for $98 per month. The new plan – known as the mySim 98 plan – is one of the four new data-centric SIM-only plans by M1. Similarly, customers can start signing up to the new plans starting Thursday (31 August) online as well as at M1 Shops and authorised dealers. Those who sign up for the unlimited data plan from launch till Sep 2 will also get free unlimited talk time for 12 months as part of its promotion.
